Besides that, I have to be frank, every time Kaya shows up, I like her a little less. She doesn't really have a character except what role she has to be for the story. |

New story. I think they're having pronoun troubles when refering to Anzrag. On some paragraphs its a "he" but in another it said that someone was slashed by "her claws" |

To be honest, I've been growing tired of Kellen, but I think this story seems finally pushed me over the edge of being sick of him. I'll also reiterate that Kaya is a macguffin for the story and that bothers me. At the very least this is tangentially related to a skill set she might have, but her presence in the story already irks me. I am surprised at how much I like Etrata and Izoni though, and man, every bit of Kos being in this makes me wish this was about and told by him. |

I'm a bit half and half on the reveal On the one hand, as soon as the culprit was revealed, I knew what they were going to do. On the other, it's still kind of refreshing. As to the culprit, they've done a better job at making me hate it for the asinine reasons they're doing it than the mystery itself. I am looking forward to the large wedge of righteous schadenfreude when they die. I hope the final moments will be spent in confusion, I don't want any penitence, I want suffering. |

as a character, right? I too want to see them get justice, we were robbed from a self-righteous prick getting reality shoved in their faces with Elesh Norn.

I think these chapters have been a notch above. I really applaud the writer here. I think the characterizations were strong and the story was developed well. Setting this on Ravnica makes so much sense from us knowing the characters and the politics already to just the ending of legal entanglements, compared to other possible settings like New Capenna. This also highlights how much better ten chapters is over five. I wouldn't want to lose the side stories, but this story had so much more time to pace out story beats and give characters moments to build and talk. We also have, for example, a relatively quick fight scene take two chapters and really benefit from it, whereas like LCI has a whole massive battle between the Mycotyrant, the vampires, and the Toltec/Sun Empire that had was rushed through or DMU has Sheoldred's whole invasion after the sleeper agents are revealed rushed through. |

Yes, they found the perfect pace. Pity it debuted in MOM and it didn't help that story at all |
