I think the most interesting thing today was that they mentioned the plane of Cridhe. Which doesn't even have a plane's card on Planechase, and has long since been forgotten. I was excited about it. And another was this image that Kaya used to represent Kaldheim, very well.

The first of the two is a delight. We fnaly get a look At Norn's Phyrexia and Tezzeret is perpetually annoyed by the religious fanatics.

The stories that show the BW from down in the trenches and the two stories about the aftermath have been truly amazing.

Compare these stories with the New Capenna story and they aren't even in the same league imho.

What these stories also clearly show is the importance of world building: the setting for the BW is one of the best in all of magic and Dominaria remains Magic's most established plane. BW is also the subject of arguably the best Magic novel ever.

We know what Urza, Mishra, Tawnos and Ashnod are up to. We don'r need to be shown. Which gives us room for these amazing stories which enrich Jeff Grubb's book.

Really lovely stories. Wouldn't have expected a direct sequel to the Brothers' War novel. I'm glad they went this route instead of retelling the same story (probably making it worse in the process).
