I was very excited about the story and the characters that will come in the collection. Especially the ones from "Legends Retold". But I feel weird with those official spoilers leaked "by accident" by Amazon. There's a lot there that we wouldn't know until the 10th until the 18th of August in Lore. Don't get me wrong, I'm still very excited about the possible Tetsu Umezawa Planeswalker or Jarred Carthalion Planeswalker card, but I don't know if I can talk about the Dominaria United collection, let alone this "problem".

It was 2015, when the core set was heavily centered around putting the new locations on Shandalar.

I personally guarantee that the Legends Retold cards contain 100% deep cuts.

I am solidly interested in seeing what gets featured.

That move was so out of the blue... but a very welcomed one at that.

I'm trying to figure out the rest of the kicker cycle with Jaya and Teferi, the B/GW one will clearly be Liliana and Ajani teaming up and assuming we only getting wedges;

W/BR- Elspeth is the most likely the one for W but hard to think of who would be BR, Angrath seems the most likely (and I'd hate for him to be anywhere near this conflict)

U/RG- Jace and the RG could be Samut, Arlinn or Wrenn all of whom I could see come help with phyrexia

G/UB- Vivien and Tezzeret already have worked together so thats a pretty clean case

I don't think the wedge cycle will be only planeswalkers.

(Blue and red-green = Venser comes back and reconnects with Radha.)

I've really strayed away from the flavor aspect of the game but it's good to know we are getting back to the whole Raven Man storyline.
Still annoyed Planeswalkers can become Phyrexians.

Also neat to see Jared and Diahada are alive (or at least until sometime post mending as both are looking like they got the mending smack) maybe we will finally find out how the 1st "planeswalker war" ended as we are on the dawn of the 3rd one.

For some reason I got this sneaking suspicion that Kasmina's hidden cause is somewhat related to Dihada...

I don't know what to make of it. Its just an obstacle between me and Brothers' War.

I like the wedge kicker cycle as a callback tothe old 'volver cycle. Not centering on +1/+1 is a much cleaner execution.

I'll respectfully disagree in calling any character who already had its own card a "deep cut" (even if said card is from Legends), but the ones we've seen so far - Jasmine, Ramirez and Tor Wauki - are the coolest thing to come out of the first round of spoilers by far IMO. Jasmine even comes with a nod to both the Circle of Seven and the People of the Pines (sort of), so that's pretty neat.

Okay, since update cards are on the table, there are two that I would seriously like to see

A new Hazezon, hopefully still making sand tokens
and
Lady of the Mountain

WELP... that was disastrous.... thankfully the stories are capped in number so they cannot expound more on the horrors of Phyrexian Sleepr agents.

And also, nice use of Rona... who I guess is now an Acolyte of the Whispering One?

It seems like the Sylex box description was foreshadowing Tezzeret getting it, since he can also manipulate metal. (There are also many other artificer and/or telekinetic planeswalkers but Tezzeret is the most tied-in one right now.)
