A bit redundant but alright

Looking through the comments, this was not well received

The trailer is literally shorter than the teaser.

I thought the teaser was the trailer, didn't realize this was a thing.

THB remains the only trailer I like, but this one is at least not as egregiously bad as Ikoria's, it's just kind of whatever. The characters look kind of uncanny-valley, the action shots aren't very exciting, and I'm not feeling the soundtrack.

Kaya's abilities continues to confuse me. Can she teleport or fly now? Isn't her whole shtick being able to phase through things, how did she use her ghost form to climb a tree?

I really like how goofy's Tibalt face is. Completely makes him look like a meme.

The only trailer I've liked since the very original Ravnica was probably war of the spark.

Wow, that was pretty bad. The original teaser was an 11/10, but it was also the only good part of the entire marketing for this set. What the heck was that background music anyway? That was just painful.

...that was a thing. Teaser was definitely better, tho I can't object to Kaya's looks.


By original Ravnica you mean this? The abysmal resolution ruins it, but the original must have been pretty awesome. In The End is too much of a meme for me to take that 100% seriously but WotS milked it for all it's worth, I have to admit.

Totally missed back then, but I appreciated Eldritch Moon's quite a bit. Though I must say, I'm way too much into the set's aesthetic not to be biased.

The Theros trailers were pretty good in my opinion, particular the Journey into Nyx one.

Can't easily pick a fave among them, one of the reasons being Beyond Death has full animation instead of card-based twirls.

And me being me, I couldn't help enjoying the hell out of Kaladesh'. Aether Revolt sounds good, but falls a bit flat with the knowledge of the flatness of the struggling ideologies (or lack thereof) beneath.

Aether Revolt's had the potential to be awesome (especially given when it came out) but Chandra's awkward animations and the fact that the renegades are legitimately entitled children ruins it.
