I wanted to ask something that I think doesn't fit in with Jace's recent "spam mind magic" abilities. There was a time during the Zendikar block where Jace and Chandra faced off, in Duel Decks: Jace vs. Chandra. Apparently Jace had a deck full of Brine Elementals and Bottle Gnomes, and Martyr of Frost. My mind is mush but I still want to ask, "what's up with that?"

They were way more interested in creating balanced and fun decks less than being super accurate.
