This is just a thinly veiled excuse for me to geek out with people over the color pie and how it relates to personality/worldviews/literally everything. But anyways, my proposal is that we, with our vast collective reservoir of pie wisdom, attempt to color every character in the major comic universes. This of course means Marvel and DC, but fear not: other properties/universes are fair game. I just won't be able to contribute as much on those cuz I'm a mainstream plebeian corporate slave.

I tend to watch a lot of tv and never really keep track of magic lore for reasons that stink.

Deadshot - Black and Red. Black reflects his calling as a hitman and his desire for death. Red is his rage toward his mother, his son's death, and the way he tortured his son's killer with a number of nonlethal shots before putting the adult-child out of his misery.

El Diablo - Red and White. Red because, hey, he's got pyrokinesis and rage issues toward people that laugh at his offers of redemption. White because he was altrusitic enough to turn himself into the authorities after he torched a gang's hideout and found out that there were women and children inside.

I totally agree on deadshot, though some of his incarnations do seem to have sort of a green vibe for reasons i cant put my finger on? or i might be just wrong. Didn't know that about El Diablo, that's very interesting.

What would you peg Dr. Strange?

Captain Boomerang - Red and Blue. Harkness is lusty, a womanizer that is often used in bait-and-switch tactics with whomever the Squad is fighting against. He's also got a talent for getting into his teammate's heads, so I'm using that to justify blue.

Amanda Waller - White and Black. Waller has a strong sense of justice, built by seeing her family succumb to the drug and innercity criminal elements. Black because Waller is willing to risk the lives of the Squad members, disguising it as a bargain: you do me this service and I'll shave a few years off your sentence.
