I'm surprised there's not some sort of MTG Novel digitization site that exists already. I would have assumed that someone would have done it by now out of a sense of preservation since some of the books are getting harder and harder to find.

Until then though, we are all kinda stuck.

I had, back when I had just finished reading it, thought to type out the entirety of The Brothers' War for my own use, although I worried about the legal implications regardless of whether it was personal or not. I later found out about the Omnibus, which is likely where I'll end up finding The Thran if ever.

I was going to go off on a rant about Hasbro's cluelessness, but I figured that wouldn't be the least bit useful.

I don't think there's a lot of risk in typing up a text version of a novel anonymously and either hosting it anonymously or handing it over to anyone willing to risk seeding or otherwise distributing it. I would be surprised if there weren't communities devoted to preserving that sort of information.

If you put it off too long it might no longer be practical to do at all, and I wouldn't have faith in any corp to produce or sell ebook versions of books that old on their own.
