While this is obvious to some, Kozilek is coming in Oath of the Gatewatch and will reap Ulamog's hard work. Hope you all enjoy and if you have any criticism, I'm here to listen as the writer. Cosi stories are a favorite of mine and speculating past the cliffhanger of the Player's Guide is plenty of fun.

The Oath of the Gatewatch expansion symbol mirrors Kozilek's floating plate motif too much to not expect him in the second set.

See: Kozilek's Channeler or Artisan of Kozilek.

Just so, only Emrakul is confirmed to have left. Kozilek has conveniently been skipped over most descriptions.

Oh?

Most of the descriptions were vague at best, saying that only Ulamog has been seen recently, little more.

I think MaRo confirmed it on Blogatog. Maybe it was Digges?

Taking anything story-related from Maro as canon is not advised. The BFZ Player's Guide explains the situation quite well; Kozilek's brood have gone into subterranean hiding while Emrakul's are actively seen weakening and decaying without her presence. No other revelations from story people have been made and the team stance has been consistently worded "known to be on Zendikar."

It's still not 100% confirmed. There are some serious questions about it, but since people can't seem to find the art for the cards online anywhere else yet, most are treating the spoiled cards as good until proven otherwise.

I'm still hoping for Kozilek to come after Ob Nixilis saps the network. The card is awesome and very in line with stated abilities.

Hope you have a masterball handy.
My guess is that Kozy shows up for a sneak attack just as the Ob/protagonist/Ulamog battle comes to a head. The conflict turns into a big win for the enemy nobody expected. Kozilek might even annihilate/absorb Ulamog.

Nissa: Wow Jace! How did you cause Kozilek to keel over and stop breathing all of a sudden?
Jace: Who is Jace?

I'm coming around to this theory.

I feel like I brought that up when I first read that story.
