Granted.

No new information on White Diamond, which is especially bizarre since her monument was emphasized. Maybe it's actually the fusion between Diamonds.

I don't think yellow is the one responsible for what we learned.
Blue was kept in the dark, but I'm thinking we're looking at a conspiracy.

I never specified. I simply said "what we learned"

by gods, nostalgia is a double edged sword.
On the one, it's great to see old stuff and recapture some ephemeral essence of who you were when it was around.
The other is once you come down you just feel ooooooooold.

Nostalgia is a curse, preventing us from looking forward.

Its also a drive to revisit and perfect old ideas, since we often abandon old ideals as soon as something shiny and new appears. The retro movment in indie games is a great example.

Yeah, I still remember when the first WOnder Woman comics came out. The world was- actually it was a lot less innocent then, but I wasn't even out of the double digits in age and it all seemed so innocent. It never even occurred to me that the two-leggers could be independent sentients (I mean look at how they acted!).

Not at the time, no.
Wonder why the movie's set in WWI when the comics were WWII era. My guesses are they either figured that WW1 would help them stand out and attract viewers or they wanted to contrast Wonder Woman and her level-headed crusade against war against the absolutely pointless clusterbomb that was the Great War.

They also wanted to avoid the conflict of Captain America.

Speaking of nostalgia - did anyone else finish Time Spiral, the novel, hoping that Nicol Bolas would return as central antagonist to the storyline? I did.

I got a coworker playing, having put together a starter deck for him.
His brother had been playing a tiny bit already and they threw down. Either I built a much better deck than I thought or I'm a better teacher because he destroyed his brother.
Also, as a consequence, their younger brother now wants in.

I've ruined three lives this weekend!

Good job

What kind of deck did you give him?

Red learner deck. Primarily focused in trading resources and ETB effects with a minor in late game big plays.

I'm well into Soldiers Live. Croaker and the mercs have finally reached Khatovar. I like how the Voroshk people inhabiting Khatovar have no knowledge of the land's history. Sleepy is more cunning and bloodthirsty than I could've imagined, based on what I read in Water Sleeps.

It's really good to have Croaker back in the pov seat again.

So british conservatives are so desperate that they need to fuse with a terrorist organization uh? Well, at least they lost their moral high ground.
