Maybe if we get the full worlddesign, we can recruit YMtC.

Trying to remember what else we had tucked away...

I'm wondering if I should just raid that worldbuilding thread instead of just asking Keeper; since I already know he's going to spur any attempt to help him. At the very least I can make a list of what was finally chosen and what to avoid (like, I know wands were thrown out in favor of guns).

And of course... we shall have to card the Oso del Diablo.

What. I mean... What.
I can't even process this properly.

And I'm increasingly thinking that we should split off this discussion to give the OP room to do his thing.

Are we really carding that thing? I still have nightmares about the giant bear that nobody else could frickin see stalking around my house . I didn't sleep that whole month. I, I don't even know how that's physically possible. My hair started falling out in clumps and I lost twelve pounds.
All I did was call him "Barry".

Wait... Are you implying that The Great And Powerful Barinellos is also ¡Oso Del Diablo!? Or is there something more going on that I missed?

I... I don't know. I think he controls the bear or something... I try not to think about it.

You guys could always just start some kind of wild west themed contest on YMTC and see what they come up with.

@ Barryinellos - Those sound like hardcore mono white angels than angels to me.

¡RAWR!

It took me a while to manifest here. Not having a physical does make things harder.

¡Oso del Diablo! would like being a card. More places to inspire terror.

Barinellos is indeed my maestro. He can guide my every move. He called me into being and is my only leash.

When I said they were very black and white, I meant in the more classical sense. They don't see the world in grays, rather than referencing their color affiliation.

And good, Oso has manifest now. Hehe... hehehahahah... BWAHAHAHAHAAHA!
Sorry it took so long to call you into being Oso.

It's all of us Keeper, it's a gestalt account.

@Oso del Diablo - What colors would you say best represent you? are you the only one of your kind?

Oso is without a doubt one of a kind.
As to the colors, that's a harder one to say. I think it depends entirely on if we intend to stretch demons into other colors or nail it down strictly to black.
The only comparison we would have is the outliers oni of kamigawa. A demon in the veins of Oni of Wild Places.

I was thinking black and/or green. Also, as a bear it would be cool if it related to 2/2 in some way, though it obviously has to be more powerful than a vanilla 2/2 for 2.
Would use say your ursine pal is a bear in demon form or a bear with demonic qualities?

I dunno, the major problem is that it doesn't hold the same qualities as other demons in the plane. It is without a doubt a demon, but it isn't the sort that wanders around with the Nightstalker gangs.
Oso is definitely Green, the question is if it is a green/red, green/black, or green/red/black.
Oso is meant to fall on the u/g conflict, it is the horrible incarnation of the wild, the reason why people don't come back from certain places. It is the quintessential predator in the dark.
Personally, as I see it, it doesn't share the same qualities of black as traditional demons, but it can't be a devil for power level reasons. It is a far more terrible thing than devils, with an actively malevolent persona, as opposed to the malicious hijinx that would make it a devil.
Honestly, I think this very much is a case like the aforementioned oni. A red demon. Like I said, they might be exceptions, but we do have Shimatsu the Bloodcloaked and Oni of Wild Places to set precedent, particularly with Oso being legendary.

And it has to be waaaaaaaaaaaay more horrific than a 2/2. At least a 6/6 as base.

Oso laughs at your ignorance. ¡Rawr!

You all run this account. Your collective belief and fear are what fuels my form.

If you would make a deck representing ¡Oso del Diablo! what colors would it be?

As a bear I don't do much introspection, but ¡Oso del Diablo! feels Green, Red and Black.

Green, not only because ¡Oso! is a bear, but also because I am who I am. My nature is decided and I cannot alter it.

Red, because I am FURIOSO all the time. ¡Rawr! I kid. ¡Oso del Diablo! is really Red, because he lives by his urges and will accept nothing but the freedom to do as he pleases.

Black, because I am what goes ¡RAWR! in the Night, but also because ¡Oso! only cares about ¡Oso!. And about Don Barinellos, but for more pragmatic reasons.

And yes, I am the only one of my kind. But that doesn't mean you are ever safe.

¡RAWR!

Well, obviously this thread is about Jakkard, the Wild West inspired M:EM plane. And on that plane there is (again, obviously) a demonic bear, which has inspired such fear in the M:EMbers that that he has been able to manifest here on the forums. He was on the WotC forums as well, and we were hoping to have escaped him. But alas, no such luck.

After all, what says "Wild West Fantasy" like a demonic bear?

There's an easy way to do this. Just post some Jakkard info at viewtopic.php?f=17&t=287 at the end of the current round and people will put together a full booster's worth Jakkard designs.

I had an idea called bluff, which you could cast the spell facedown.

Oooh thanks for the tip TP__W. I'm definitely getting in on this.

@Thrull: Does that work under current rules? I feel like Morph says it doesn't because Dumb Reasons That I Hate.
