I'm more hyped by the hundred glowing floating swords and the Lady of the Lake, which seems a bit spookier than standard...

4/5ths is really awesome looking.
The last little bit makes me think they're leaving a little too hard into certain specific stories.

Not sure I'm a fan of moving away from the online stories, but we have to pay outside authors somehow I guess.

I like that they're trying out releasing the book before the set, so we don't know the plot already while reading. It lets them keep telling the story through the cards without making the written story less enjoyable.

I have a mild concern about this tumblr exchange that I just read:

Hypnosis is my favorite doujin tag and all that, but I feel like Garruk had a reputation that made him a very serviceable antagonist, and now he's kind of... belittled. I want to see him predate some planeswalkers, but I'm not sure I'll be able to take him seriously after all the fanfics about him being dominated by a fey twink come out.

How does this person have this piece of the story? Do they have more context to confirm the hunter is Garruk?

Not that I am aware of. That is why I only have mild concern.

That's interesting because MaRo has said there are three planeswalkers and Will always appears with Rowan and the third one is "new". I think that means Oko is the third planeswalker card and then Garruk won't be on a card this time. I also feel like Occam's Razor, Will is also a planeswalker card, but there are some statements that could be read slant-wise to mean Will is not getting his own card.

I'd guess that either our card-walkers are Will & Rowan, and this new Oko guy and Garruk doesn't get a card because he is an enthralled bodyguard this go-around, or Rowan, Oko, and Garruk get cards and Will gets story-time out as a victim of some fairy-tale sleeping curse or some such.

I'm going to go full tinfoil and say that Garruk/Oko will be our first dual 'walker card.
I'm pretty sure we've seen Oko's card art so don't take me seriously.
