Vronos is a very obscure character despite being an avatar for the games.
But honestly, it's more that his story is a bizarre mish mash that doesn't really add up to something that looks...right.

I'm not absolutely sure, but tezzeret's first appearance was in AoA anyways. He might have had a card before, but he had no story. The Seeker's Fall was published during conflux and I'm sure that was after AoA.

The main reason not to use vengeant is color concerns.

As to Liliana, I've given the matter thought and concluded her alliance with bolas is a good chance to point her to the chain veil... And it makes more sense than the demon pointing her to the thing that can kill him. So whatever she's doing on Alara can tie in as a mercenary working for Intel.

Grixis seems a little... unrefined for her tastes (I seem to recall most of the surrounding landscape being covered in corpses?). Her only real complaint with Innistrad is the preponderance of angels.

Actually! In the agents of artifice book her and jace went to grixis and she loved it. She gained a lot of power because of the stronger presence of black mana. They DID almost get eaten by one of those corpse fields but she was able to prevent it because of said black mana, and their must be some way people live on grixis. Also thats where nicol was hanging out

Yeah whereas Jace was freaked right out by both the plane, and how into it Liliana was.

Liliana was like... totally juiced up on black mana while on Grixis.

She loved vacationing on Grixis, but she got a summer home on Bant.
Admittedly, it was in test of metal, but its not that far of a commute.

I don't know how much she'd like having to carve out a place there to survive.

It does actually bring up something (in an abstract way) in that we're giving Jazal a card. That means we should probably look at the other legends hanging around and decide what we should cut and add.
The Sen Triplets need to get gone for being a flavorless bomb.
We desperately need a card for Eliza and Lisha.

It's a shame we can't use Crucius (unless we scrap Test of Metal).

Going over the Legendaries, we can probably replace quite a few. Apart from the story-specific ones, they're up for grabs, I guess. I'm thinking of Thraximundar in particular, apart from the Sen Triplets.

At the very least, if we do Thraxi, who did have a story by Jenna, we need to give him the right creature type.
I think we can stand to drop Jenara.
I am ABSOLUTELY in favor of nuking Child of Alara. Then again, I really hate the laser fetus.
I'm torn on Gwafa Hazid. He was in the story, but his role was miniscule and could probably be better used.

I second nuking child it always seemed a little...weird. It should be replaced with another rainbow legend though.

We have the Maelstrom Wanderer just wandering around.

The literal world soul should probably have a more prominent role in the story anyway.

I mean progenitus already has a card and feature so... He's covered.
