In my last dream I remember, I found some sneakers. I got excited, because they were white and looked like the indoor shoes from shuuenpro. Then I got sad, because their soles were blue, not red. I am quite confident that this was the full extent of my dream. One of the less interesting ones I've had, for sure.

I don't remember anything from last night, but I do remember the night before that.
Me and... uh, my family (I think) were walking to some place on the outskirts of town. I remember thinking it was pretty weird that people lived all the way out there because the hills were so steep. Somebody else was complaining, but I took pride in the fact that I endured it with the help of a little trick- I put my hands out in front of me and used them to pull myself along. The hill was so steep that I could do this while standing perfectly upright. There are a lot of really steep hills in my dreams. I should look into that.
Eventually we got to a church (probably for a wedding) where we just sat around for a bit. Of course, we had to be on the lookout for the bad guys, because with so many of us there, bad guys were likely to come. Then my dream turned into a top-down tactical shoot 'em up game. I stayed behind to blast anybody following us with my shotgun while my team went ahead to secure our objective. It was a really neat game with cool weapons, neat environmental hazards and really slick gameplay.
Then I started watching somebody play a different game. It was the final level of Banjo-Kazooie. You know, the one with the giant black pit and the gothic literature-themed puzzle? No? Huh. It was... interesting.
By this point that's all I can remember.

You don't want to see what the rescue squad of mine looks like. The cure may very well be worse than the disease.

The latest chapter of Gunnerkrigg is well worth a read, even for those of you not up on the story.

I love that someone I'm familiar with was going on and on about how rough this chapter was set to be.

If you're talking about Shaggy, that's a very odd coincidence because it started playing in my head yesterday too.

We Bare Bears has always been a really cute series. I haven't watched it since the summer when it only had like 5 episodes out, but it was fun when I watched it.

That's the one Lord. Its got a good beat.

Disappointing game tonight, LSU losing to those cornfed inbreds. At least the club was fun.

And a no good, awful, deplorable, horrible set of lyrics.

Congrats, I guess? Like, I guess you must be happy, but it's not like you actually did anything to accomplish that. I'm not really good at familial relations.

I accomplished absolutely nothing, although not killing my brother took a lot of patience at times :-D

I am very happy though. It's the first baby born amongst my brothers and she's just the cutest little thing.

I just hope she'll like dinosaurs. I don't think I want a niece that doesn't appreciate a good triceratops.

Congratulations Yxoque, i'm actually really happy for you.

That being said, all babies are ugly and no one can convince me otherwise.

So does gunnerkrigg court have any over-arching plot? Is it just one filler after another? I mean I'm ok with that because those are some damn good filler arcs. Also, is it ever gonna end? Is it ending now???

Congratulations Yxoque, i'm actually really happy for you.

That being said, all babies are ugly and no one can convince me otherwise.

For there is nothing so imperfect, so helpless, so naked, so shapeless, so foul, as man observed at birth, to whom alone, one might almost say, Nature has given not even a clean passage to the light; but, defiled with blood and covered with filth and resembling more one just slain than one just born, he is an object for none to touch or lift up or kiss or embrace except for someone who loves with a natural affection.
- Plutarch
