I thought the same, but there are a few diferences. For one thing, not-Anubis seems to be in a very commanding pose.

One thing that really is a striking difference for me is the way that not-Anubis is actually in a position to launch that spear. Heliod's is much more relaxed because he's resting it on his back and there's no bloody way a human's muscles could give that real thrust. Honestly, I never thought of this until now but it looks like he's holding it so he can admire the light his own spear is emitting. I actually find this idea fairly appropriate for Heliod.

Kinda also wondering about the size of the gods on Amonkhet too. Not-Anubis looks about as tall as that obelisk next to her and I feel like the carved head in the distance would tower over her. The Theran gods always felt physically much bigger to me.

I'm having second thoughts about "Sobek" being the god, since he is shown to be surrounded by zombies, what appear to be vultures are seen circling above and he's being "blessed" by the sun, which we established as Bolas' domain in this world. While "Anubis" is shown before mountain-esque pyramids.

Jackals in magic are red and crocs are black so yeah.

This isnt a viashino and both examples are fairly rare.

Why wouldn't you guys think that the gods were posted in colour order? It starts with the cat, which would obviously be white, then the ibis, which is obviously blue, then the croc, then the jackal, then the snake, which would probably be green. I always assumed the croc was black and the jackal was red.

I thought it was weird that Heliosphoros, when they posted the thread for the god pics that got merged into this one, placed them out of order.

There is still the possibility that they might be multicolour, which would muddle things further and explain the contradictory hints. They probably aren't, but you never know. And I think I don't really like the idea of mono-white mummies, but we'll see where this is going.

Im guessing the limited archetypes will be enemy colors so we will see black/white mumies
