Behold my inability to give a **** about Elspeth. Her presence immediately makes me lose interest in whatever story they're planning.

As for the demons, I do like me some multi-type shenanigans.
Still feeling like the upcoming set is a major mixed bag for me overall.

I mean, they didn't say they wanted the doomsday prophecy to be fulfilled, just that they believed in it.

Can i just say that the apparent lack in communication between the design and story teams is especially bad this set?
Story = 'Halo is angelgoop and angels are extinct or at least exceedingly rare'
Set= 'Angels galore!'

To be fair they are implied to have been awakened at the end of the story (and flat out stated to be recently awakened in one of the cards I think). They even have stone wings to show they are still stoned (geddit).

I just hope they don't get in the way of the non-black demons Maro promised.

I'm pretty sure those are the family heads we've seen already.

I'm still waiting if the Planeswalkers Guide will illuminate more about this. The way the last story ended... its as if Giada went back to the Plane's white mana or something...

It does not explain what happened to Giada, only referencing that angels have begun to return.

Weirdly, they basically all but spell out the big reveal from the stories in the trailer.
