Some tidbits:

- The Cosmos is indeed like a mini-multiverse/blind eternities. Getting lost in it causes you to be disoriented and mad but you can cross with the appropriate things.

- Koma is also analogous to Nidhogg

- There is no sun (confirmed by the new story I'll post in a bit), Starnheim illuminates the worlds.

- There's a god that ages backwards and is now a teenager.

Reidane, the god of justice, is youthful, arrogant, fanatical, and fully committed to the cause of justice.

Halvar, the god of battle, is selfless, stalwart, unwavering, and always the most sensible person in any room.

I think this is an interesting twist of expectations that also fits Tyr's association as a god of war but a noble and just one.

Cosima, the god of the sea, is intensely curious and tempestuous. Born a Cosmos monster, she can't stand being in one place for too long.

Insert Cosi/Kozilek conspiracy theory. Her being originally a Cosmos monster may refer to Skadi, who joined the pantheon of gods although she was a jotunn.

The Cosmos Elixir harkens back to the apples of youth and how the gods started aging when they were stolen. Before they defeated the elves and started drinking the Cosmos Elixir, I wonder if the Skoti were human.

They vary in size from the unimaginably massive Cosmos Serpent to the tiny, mischievous squirrel Toski, who is small enough to sit in the palm of Esika's hand.

Didn't the first story with Kaya refer to Toski as a giant squirrel?

If the Kannah leave the forest, winter follows them and torments them with constant, increasing snowfall, eventually making forward progress impossible and forcing them to turn back. The Kannah maintain a small settlement near the Cursed Tree, where they perform runic rituals in hopes that one day the curse will be lifted.

This is cool for the green Humans, and them being the most god-hating.

I'm also kind of curious what Reidane's deal is. Its abundantly clear that the gods are not above the valkyries and that the angels don't much care for the Skoti's rules, but she looks like a mega-valkyrie, is flat out called "god of the worthy" and her shield and variant art makes it clear she's based off Sól, and Starheim is basically Kaldheim's sun.

Lots of mixed messages here.

I wonder in general who the Skoti are and where their powers come from. Like Egon aging backwards. Is that a result of the Cosmic Elixir? Is the Skoti just like an family of X-Men former humans?

We know Alrund has his powers from wrestling knowledge from the Cosmos Monsters.

Both the guide and the previous Tyvar article seem to imply that they were former mortals (or, in Cosima's case, a former Cosmos monster). The Cosmos elixir connects them to the tree and gives them powers.

In general, gods in Kaldheim seem to be defined by how they're connected to the World Tree. The Einir were through Koma.

I like the Skelle, they are pretty radical.
Do Demons not die, or are they reborn in Immersturm? If they fight all the time and new ones aren't born then I'd imagine they'd nearly all be dead by now.
I can't stop Inga from doing what she wants, but it seems kind of silly to send her out on dangerous adventures considering her position.
The giants and valkyries I get, but it's a bit weird to me that the changelings are so explicitly color-aligned, I don't really see them as a species that are either green or blue.

I don't think they're listed in Istfell so yes, they're probably locked to Immersturm in pretty much every way.

I guess it's specifically that Egon ages backward and Tergrid has a living evil shadow that seems anomalous. Why do they have such specific transformations by the Cosmic elixir.
