One thing I noticed about the art is that not only its wavy and there's trees in the sea, but that there's water escalating all the way to the peak, implying that the place's just been washed over.

Though I know plenty of tree species that grow in the water, I doubt that the artist does, and said trees usually aren't completely submerged. These two things seem to imply that Kiora just filled the whole area with sea water.

Whare's that from? I don't recognize the expansion symbol. Also, yes, Kiora would totally drown a forest without even thinking about it twice.

At first glance I thought she raised an island from the sea, but it wouldn't have trees on it in that case would it?
Kind of weird that she's just creating more underwater topography, which as far as gameplay is concerned, isn't something you typically draw mana from.

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

There's a few underseascapes like Submerged Boneyard. Maybe one day we'll get to see more
