Massive, to the point where there's basically no relation between the two. Colors are discreet, not continuous.
A character who is
has both white and black values/components. These are sets of views and traits that are normally at odds with one another but that are not so much at odds with Blue's attributes.
I'll simplify this by giving each color two traits. In reality, each color has a lot more than two and many traits bleed, but for the purposes of illustrating, it'll do.
: Orderly, Altruistic
: Intellectual, Logical
: Selfish, Morbid
: Chaotic, Emotional
: Instinctual, Vital
A
character (in this super-simplified scheme) is at least one of Altruistic and Orderly and at least one of Selfish and Morbid. The Orzhov guild of Ravnica is
and could be described as Selfish, Orderly, and to a lesser extent Morbid. a mono
entity, by contrast is at least one of Intellectual or Logical, probably both, and doesn't have any of the headline traits from other colors in great degree: the blue character is not likely to be remarkably altruistic, selfish, orderly, or morbid. They fall near the middle on those factors. A well-rounded character will probably exhibit behaviors and/or personal traits outside those of their color and only their color, but their dominant values and/or core nature are part of the slice of the pie belonging to their color or colors.
