To all the critics of this thread on this forum: Despite not directly relating to Magic: The Gathering, we should all still approve of this thread, as we get little to no art related posts on her.

I think it is a question of whether enjoying art is more important than the forum rules

Oh! i'm an artist who wants to freelance for magic! But other than that , I agree it is rude to show john's face without his permission, and its kinda boastful to boot.

I'm gonna sound really ugly for saying this, but if Raven can tout his writing everywhere without hate, I think it's okay if you tout your art.
I think you shoudl try and keep it focused to Magic related art, for the sake of the forum rules, but I do like this work and hope you post more in the future.

I also don't think we should delete this thread.

As a Raven, I don't think there's anything wrong or "ugly" about this sentiment. I mean, the stuff I put up here is pretty much always Magic flavored, but there have been exceptions, and personally, I think that's okay. We're a community here. I think we should feel welcome to share our work with one another.

Considering the creative corner is pretty dead I think its fine to post here.

It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine that people use that argument. Better to light one candle than curse the darkness.

Yes. And I know for a fact people still check in there, even if they aren't posting. I'd love to see more original art on the forums, but it should go in the appropriate place.

It would be fine to post there but he should post here too because not all of us check down there. Or maybe you do but I stopped.

I do think I should check down there more often, but generally I'm either reading/proofreading the backlog of the M:EM or off reading poniponiponi words or playing some video games. I'm fine with advertising but I just think it should have been posted there and then maybe a thread made here to talk about it.
