Has nobody here seen this yet?

Happened across it when I went to do a practice draft on BFZ on the Bestiaire. Doubt it'll last long with the mouse owning Star Wars now.

The Mouse can't do diddly squat about this. This is a clear example of Fair Use.

It bothers me that they invented a creature type "trooper" when they could have just used "soldier" to no ill effects (just give the rebels the you know "rebel" creature type)

Gut instinct is that Repair is dangerous but I could be wrong.

Also I feel like maybe this belongs more in YMTC? There's not a loooot to do with it from a flavor perspective. It's sort of... hey, Star Wars. Yep. Star Wars sure is the flavor being conveyed on these cards.

True. Until somebody tries selling a set :/

I'm a 501st geek, so the trooper creature type made me smile. I like how they used the Sliver mechanic with them, but you're right that rebels could (probably should) have a similar mechanic available. One thing I noticed is the Rocket Trooper card also has a Rally effect. Definite potential for abuse there.

Agreed.

Yeah, probably should have put it there.

I have a hate-love relationship with Star Wars, but pretty much everything I hate about it would be translated perfectly into Magic:

"Oh noes is always evil!"

"Oh noes is always good!"

The Jedi kidnap children and brainwash them from a young age and they have an unquestioned fiat to do this.

Not disagreeing with your statement though.

But that's justifiable because the only way a Jedi can do wrong is to fall to the Darkseid.

Jedi and Sith should both be monks.

They should actually be a combination of monks, clerics, warriors and knights.

Yes, especially given how there's now a variety of subranks and speciations within the Jedi.
