What I need is reminder text that clarifies my intention that you may take cards from your hoard pile even if Tendon Tearer isn't around any more. But I can't think of any. That that that.

The mechanic itself is kinda like scrying I guess. But more powerful because you don't have to worry if there's a card you don't want right now but know you'll probably want later. Unlike scry, it does reveal the cards, which might matter.

I like it. flavory.

I like this mechanic.

There's a small part of me that would like it better with "As long as ~ is hoarding a creature" instead, but that is sort of counterintuitive to how you would normally stack the cards, so I dunno.

You can look at your hoard at any time right?

exile is face-up by default, your hoard is visible to all

Something very similar to Hoard was submitted in the GDS2. Illuminate, maybe?

Yeah I looked and it is in fact the same.

Oh well, I came up with it independently.

Also I came up with an easy solution to the reminder text problem: make cards where it would make no sense to have it any other way.
