So there is this really interesting horror writing forum called the SCP foundation. It is located at: http://www.scp-wiki.net/

I think some of the articles would make interesting magic cards. So, let's design some cards!

When you make a card, please put what SCP number it is based on and give any credit due for pictures and the such. Lets have some fun, and maybe some positive critique.

Here's SCP 019:

Pot of Vericulos
Artifact
~ doesn't untap during your upkeep.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if ~ is untapped, put a 2/1 red Horror token with "This creature attacks each turn if able" onto the battlefield. Then flip a coin. If its heads, tap ~.
At the beginning of each players upkeep, if ~ is tapped, that player puts three 2/1 red Horror tokens with "This creature attacks each turn if able." Those creatures gain haste until end of turn.

SCP-1660

Censer of Secret Woods

Artifact
:1:, :t:: Search your library for a forest card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
:g::g:: Put a 2/2 green beast creature token onto the battlefield. Activate this ability only if you control five or more forests.

You guys should really post the links to your SCPs. Also, for the less educated, perhaps you could suggest a few relatively cardable SCPs?

Well there's http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-017 (SCP 17), http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-027 (SCP 27), http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-030 (SCP 30), http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-040 (SCP 40). Should be a good start.

Actually, should I make a contest for this? I can pick a SCP and have people design for that particular one.

I've been reading various entries on that site for 15 mins now and I still have no idea what the hell is going on.

You mention Horror writing, but it seems to be a conspiracy theory wiki? Possible to get a synopsis?

The SCP wiki is a Horror/ARG type of fiction site. It focuses on the actions of the fictitious "SCP Foundation" and various anomalous/supernatural objects or entities known as "SCPs" which are the meat of the content on the site. The majority of those are written from a clinical, scientific viewpoint as a stylistic choice for presentation of the horror elements, typically consisting of the Special Containment Procedures needed to secure the object or entity in question, a description of the object or entity and its supernatural ability/nature, and possibly attached addenda, letters, interviews or other "documents" to enhance the effect of the piece.

SCP-148 - Telekill Alloy, "The metal that psychics hate!"

Dreamsteel Ingots
Artifact
~ enters the battlefield with X mass counters on it.
, , remove X mass counters from ~: Exile target instant or sorcery spell with converted mana cost X or less. Attach the exiled card to ~.
, remove X mass counters from ~: You may copy a card exiled attached to ~ with a converted mana cost of X or less. If you do, you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost.

Little unsure about the costing, but it's late at night, so screw it.
