This is a cross forum contest for a bit of fun. Your cards will be compared against members of another forum. Grading system tba. If you have accounts on both forums, it is recommended that you only take one side (but I have no way of enforcing this). The idea is to figure out what sort of mechanically interesting cards can be done with the abilities of Theros, but weren't - either because r&d didn't think of them or because they are saving them for a later set in the block. First round - make a card with Heroic |

Ooo neat idea. Fated Farmhand Creature — Human Warrior Heroic — Whenever you cast a spell that targets Fated Farmhand, search your library for a card named Fated Farmhand and put it onto the battlefield. He was the inspiration for the rest to rise up. 2/1 |

Enlightenment -- Enchantment (MR) Creatures you control with activated abilities have "Heroic - Whenever you cast a spell that targets this creature, activate one of its activated abilities without paying its activation cost." When Heliod's reign was threatened, he found a way to stifle his foe. |

Hey dudibus and/or altimis? How are you getting your mana symbols to be properly spaced? Mine won't appear unless I space them. |

As an aside: Loving the designs that copy or redirect targets, but they don't work. See this article: http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/Heroic The copy effects don't function because you don't cast copies created on the stack. Effects like Panoptic Mirror should still work, I think. |

Yeah... MC tags. That's right... Nice guy here 8^p I mentioned it in the request thingy-ma-jig someone said that is what the MC tags were for, and someone else said they'd look into it so long that they could get a version working that didn't break everything. |

I dunno, too lazy to go edit something that'll work better. ~SE++ |

I just figured I'd point out the fact. It does seem counter-intuitive. Sucks it doesn't trigger from abilities. Whats more heroic than a hero wielding an amazing weapon? |
