I feel there is a distinct separation of the type line and the name.

the idea I think is that he calls out the names of your cards

because he is a goblin advisor that means he's bad at his job

It could still loose a point of toughness or something. In the sort of deck you'd put this in your hand is probably going to empty out pretty fast anyways. Also notable- the downside doesn't stack. Every Crier after the first one is just a hasty 2/2 for with no downside.

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

So, everyone thinks this is a bit too strong, then?
1 toughness seems fair.

I'm not sure what to think about how much of a downside this is, since Goblin Guide's downside matters only in bad matchups, otherwise he kills your opponent before its relevant.
