Just realized we never got a planeswalker that wasn't really worth killing that much, something like...

Sarkhan, protector of dragons
Planeswalker - Sarkhan
When cardname enters the battlefield, create a red 5/5 dragon creature token with flying and haste.
+1: pay any amount of times, when a creature you control gets blocked this turn it gets +1/+0 until eot for each time you paid it.
-1: Add , spend this mana only to activate abilities of permanents you control.
-3:discard a card, and if you do, add a dragon card from your graveyard to your hand.
Starting loyalty 5

I feel like it's better to make a draw spell that rewards you for having basics thannonbasics. A domain version could work pretty well too.

Nonbasic lands are generally stronger, so running them is usually its own reward.

I decided the main issue with two mana Catalog was graveyard interaction. Without it, I think this card has the same power level as Impulse

We have seen this mechanic lately as a way to depower rummaging in red. Kinda surprised it hasn't shown up in blue as much.
