It's 24hours to submit, not 24hours to grade. I'll put grades up in a second.

Ko: "comes into play" should be "enters the battlefield", and you should specify that it has to have been dealt damage by omnipyre that turn for its death to trigger the ability, because otherwise there will be memory issues. Aside from that, it's a cool design.

Yarium: I think this thing's upside over ball lightning is worth enough more than 1 power that it becomes overpowered. Also, since when does red get edict effects?

Azure shade: cool card, and it definitely feels like throwing stuff on a pyre. I probably would have made it "sacrifice a permanent at random", but that's just me.

Lilan: your card is too similar to comet storm.

Dudibus: I love the obsidian fireheart reference. This card is really cool.

Aaaaargh: another sweet card, fits the "pyre" theme well, and the flavor text is amazing.

Tevish: I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that your card copying Aaaargh's card was an accident. Copypaste my grade for Aaaargh's card, but erase the part about the amazing flavor text.

Planeshaper: So basically :10000000: :r: "you win the game"? No offense, but it's kinda boring, even if it does fit the pyre theme.

Yinglung: I don't really see how this is white, nor do I see why this forum has a fetishistic obsession with exile mechanics.

Thejuggler: this is interesting mechanically, but in actual gameplay I think it pretty much just translates to "you win the game when you untap and cast a burn spell". And it should be "deals 1 damage", not "does 1 damage". #wordingnazi

Tony: first of all, it should be "each creature", not "all creatures". Also, anger of the gods and slagstorm indicate that a 3 damage sweeper at this cost should not be one-sided.

Ogre: So basically, it's an infinite removal spell that can also turn around and kill you, unless you start sacrificing your own guys? I love it.

Peregrine: First of all, discard != red. Second, the opponent should need to reveal their hand so you can tell if they have a card they can discard to the ability.

Mown: this needs reminder text.

Imi: I like how it's pyre flavored, and I also like how it can encourage you to go all-in on it, at the risk of getting disenchanted out.

Nephro: I get how a mono-colored card that benefits another color is interesting mechanically, but the flavor behind it doesn't really make sense, and I don't get why it's triple blue. Do you have a bunch of volcanic islands that you want to spike in price or something?

The butt: interesting card. It does feel a little slow though.

And the winner is:

Actually, I want to nominate 2 winners, because they both made great cards, but they're great for different reasons. Ogre deserves a win because his card was mechanically interesting, and Aaaargh deserves his victory because dat flavor text.

It's white because the second ability is pretty white, and red omnidamage creatures tend to die. We have a fetishistic obsession with exile mechanics because bow ties are cool.

Well done Ogre!

Honestly, I was trying to make it fit the "Omni" theme, which is effectively the same — :1000000: :u: "you win the game."

Yes, it is kinda boring.

Oh, wow... that's almost creepy parallel thinking.

Had I noticed, I would have submitted a different design.

No, it shouldn't exist at all. Partially for that reason.
