I'm going to post my casual decks here because I think they are really neat. They won't all be decks I personally own, they are more exercises in game design and creative exploration, but some of them I will build. My goal is to make decks that feel innovative, forming cohesion between divergent elements. In doing so, I want them to provide varied gameplay with both reliable performance and significant decision space.

Manabases are somewhat arbitrary.

Rust

This deck uses the xerox principle with 8 baubles in conjunction with Leonin Squire and a few other cantrips to aggressively cut the number of lands it plays. The core of the deck revolves around Goblin Engineer and Scrapyard Recombiner, providing both flexible toolbox options and powerful engines. You can approach a game by reanimating an early Pentavus with Vesperlark, grind out your opponent with Idol of Ancestry or Scrapyard Trawler, or tutor up some Slagfiends to dominate the battlefield.

Seafood

This deck is themed around sea creatures, using different ways to cheat on mana in order to create big tempo shifts with emerge creatures. It tries to survive the early game through the use of Spatial Contortion and Titan's Presence, until it can find an opportunity to close out the game with Elder Deep-Fiend. Vexing Scuttler is an important multi-purpose tool that can retrieve important spells, or become a threat that is difficult to interact with when used in conjunction with Release to the Wind.

Øtter Madness

In an attempt to find a deck that could make use of Eon Frolicker in a 2-player game, this deck aims to resolve a Curse of Fool's Wisdom or Gibbering Descent in order to capitalize on giving your opponent an extra turn while they are unable to harm you. It uses this within a Madness shell that can both accelerate out your removal spells, or provide card advantage through careful using your looting effects. Frantic Search is the most powerful cards in the deck, letting you cast your madness cards for free, and being one of the few sources of doing so at instant speed, so it is best used wisely.
