Does anyone else enjoy the building of a deck more than actually playing it? I find myself fascinated with the different cards, flavors and combinations one can build into a 60-card deck. However I never came close to actually wanting to buy or play them. I guess it's because I like the idea more than the execution.

Anyone else feel this way?

I prefer deckbuilding to playing. I like a lot of interactions and decks built on various hypotheses.

I do as well, but I do in a different way. I actually code cards for Duels of the Planeswalkers and make whatever deck I want and play with them.

Only if you hate coding. I like modding so creating stuff like that doesn't bother me.

If I wanted to spend my time manipulating language and patterns I'd be a math major.
