(Spurred by the title of my other thread; 2AM wears away my thread-posting restraint, apparently.) So R&D made a conscious choice to put as much of what people expect from Greek mythology as they could into Theros. But they couldn't put everything in, so there has to be stuff they've left out. So what's left for Born of the Gods and Journey into Nyx? What Greek mythology tropes did they not touch on in Theros that we could potentially see later? My bets: Atlas, Achilles, Narcissus, Persephone, and from Perseus a mirrored shield and using a Gorgon head as a weapon. (Gogon Flail reprint?) |

I'd personally like a bag of winds somewhere amidst the next few sets. |

Well, from guessing, we have had "Theros" and the next set in "Journey into Nyx". Theros is setting the stage of the regular world that these characters live in, but Journey into Nyx sounds like it'll deal with more with the Theros afterlife. We haven't really seen a whole lot of cards that show the afterlife except Cerberus, Erebos, the Returned (which is in the world of the living), and Rescue from the Underworld. We have not seen any of the three "hells", "Mount Olympus", tortures, Daedelus, *THE* Minotaur, a minotaur-slayer, becoming a god, pomegranate, apples, Titans, Chronos, etc. |

Well we have ten minor gods, so we will see a lot of their followers and spells and stuff. |

one interesting thing is how they've printed lands, using the same colors they did in gatecrash. which means if the block is a three set block as normal, they are going to have 5 rare slots left over in the last set. |

The second set is Born of the Gods; Journey into Nyx is the third.I think they have the minotaur and Theseus covered: Labyrinth Champion and Ordeal of Heliod cover Theseus pretty well, and there's a ton of Minotaurs already. They'll probably have a legendary BR Minotaur for Commander players, but they're not going to worry about having a singular minotaur in a singular labyrinth. They might represent the thread, though. |

King Midas' golden touch. Pharika may include the life-death-rebirth element that's in Persephone and Dionysus. There's Argos, Cyclopes blacksmiths, have they done the uncatchable deer yet? Tiresius and/or Cassandra. The Furies. I don't think they've put the Iroan (Olympic) games in the cards yet. |

How about a minotaur that is actually in a labyrinth. Maybe even Labyrinth Minotaur. Also I want some Discordia, she's my waifu. |
