UC took the Sefirot of Judaic kabbalism and mapped each manifestation to an MTG color pair.

I don't know enough about the sefirot to really judge the implementation though. Could be used as a basis of an Evangelion/MTG crossover?

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

fixed based on surface level assumptions about descriptions provided as well as my own knowledge of Ravnica guilds; switched Rakdos and Golgari because Rakdos has been the color of hedonism and materialism in at least two planes (Boggarts in Lorwyn and the Cult of Rakdos in Ravnica) while Golgari is literally about overcoming or in some instances repurposing death; rotated Boros, Selesnya, and Orzhov as opulence and honor seems more of a pride among peers thing (see Divinity of Pride), Boros is the literal hand of the law in Ravnica (and often other planes as well, such as Avacyn in Shadows over Innistrad and Nahiri exacting what she sees as vigilante justice), and kindness, love, and mercy all seem to fit most of Selesnya's group greater than individual philosophies across planes; changed Crown to better indicate transcendence over the previous pairs, but not entirely sure where Dimir and/or Azorius would go, more so with myself associating Dimir with fraud and treachery ... if understanding implies understanding one's own place in the grand machinations of the cosmos (and thus a sense of ego), then Dimir would suit that outside of a Ravnica setting.

EDIT: the more I think about it though; this would probably be better as a tricolor pie instead ... give me a sec to write something up.
