*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

(WotC Meeting; c. Innistrad Era)
MaRo: Team, we have received several complaints about how Garruk's hatred for Liliana has been portrayed. And as we all know, each complaint represents a million players, so several million players are upset with Garruk.
(Group mutters, MaRo silences them momentarily)
MaRo: In order to save this company, I'm afraid we're going to have to replace Garruk. Fortunately, we have a stand-in until we can find a suitable replacement.
(Cut to portrayal of Nissa following Sorin throughout Zendikar)
Sorin: Ok, whatever you do, do not awake the Eldrazi.
Nissa: I like Eldrazi~
Sorin: Did you not hear what I said?
Nissa: I like Eldrazi~
Sorin: If you release them, Zendikar will be destroyed.
Nissa: I like Zendikar! (Releases the Eldrazi Titans)
Sorin: Clearly I've been babysitting a null this entire time. Good luck with that. (Planeswalks to Innistrad)
(Cuts to the formation of the Gatewatch)
Gideon: For justice and peace, I will keep watch.
Jace: For the sake of the Multiverse, I will keep watch.
Chandra: If it means that people can live in freedom, yeah, I'll keep watch.
(All three turn to look at Nissa, awaiting her response)
Nissa: I like Eldrazi~
Jace: No, you hate the Eldrazi; you love Zendikar.
Nissa: I like Zendikar!
Jace: Ok, I'm going to have to have a talk with Liliana.
(Cuts to Shadows of Innistrad)
Jace: Liliana, I have a question for you.
Liliana: Oh, if you insist.
Jace: Can we please have Garruk back?
Liliana: Why would you want that beast back? Surely, there are other green planeswalkers to fill its shoes.
Jace: We have Nissa.
Liliana: What in Urza's name have I done?
(Cuts to Sorin being trapped by Nahiri and robbed by Olivia)
Sorin: (thinking) Well, this can't turn out much worse.
Nissa: (disembodied voice) Hey Sorin~
Sorin: Wait ... no ... no~
Nissa: I like Eldrazi~
Sorin: NOOOOOOOOO!!!
(Returns to WotC Meeting c. Amonkhet)
MaRo: Alright, that was a mistake. How soon can we have Vivien ready?
The only fun card in the game (Hymn to Tourach) was called the least fun card in the game by the feral Mark Rosewater! He co-opted the game after the Doc Martens crowd left.
