You need guys who can wield bats/clubs

You need guys who can catch balls

You need guys who can throw balls*

*-balls need not be baseballs.

And maybe a guy or two who can run really fast.

Any combination of these four greatly appreciated.

For example, I think the guy in my signature would be a good baseball player. He's got the bod of a power hitter. Also, dat stache tho.

Rocket-Powered Turbo Slug as the ball? Though it probably needs to be wrapped in an Armadillo Cloak (see old art) so that it doesn't just go "squish" as slugs are wont to do when they get hit by a bat.

Samut, Voice of Dissent as a runner (designed as a "speedster" according to MaRo).
Stonehewer Giant as a hitter (brings his own "baseball bat" and has the muscle to more than knock it out of the park)? Or maybe he's just the bat boy who retrieves bats?
