I'm playing Frost Titan . dek. Could not come up with something better other than bridge tongs and chasm.dek, and I am kind of board with Mishra's Workshop.

I played a deck I've been waiting to play forever because it gets a pretty good edge this round...although the deck that's "strictly" better would probably do...uh...better and grab just as many of the extra points.

I wanted to play Icatian Store, Kytheon, Martial Coup for fun, but after comparing it to the Round 1 decks, it turns out turn-8 removal is bad removal.

I'm going to play bad but fun decks all the time. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky.

Well, it's vanilla 3cm with every major deck unbanned and with you having the option to play two decks if you think that's better.

So with the new bans, what is the meta?

I don't know. Too many things are banned lol, I had to rework my deck four times because it contained (what I thought were) innocuous cards which happened to be banned.

Looks like BFZ will have some fun new cards for 3CM. The new Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is interesting, Titan's Presence is an interesting removal spell for StorageDrazi.dec. Might be a fun way to avoid the Processor's abilities.

Izzet Steam Workshop -> Storage land -> Dark Ritual + Blood Tribute

Feeding Grounds -> Black Lotus + Eureka + Emrakul

I've got a lot more . But I don't like this round. It's disruption or turn 2 kill round all over again.

Blood Tribute doesn't work. Halving their life total twice leaves them at 5, not 0.

That Emrakul deck was totally legal last round, too.

Okay, that's a pretty scary deck. Before I ban Izzet Steam Maze, though, I want to see just how many planes enable that level of degeneracy. If it's a large number, we'll just accept that that's part of the format. If it's just a few, I'll ban them.

I'll have more time after work to look into this.
