I believe the spirit of it is "a fundamentally different enough ruleset that several distinct lines of play are all opened up and closed down at the same time".

It opens up mill. It opens up land-matters. It opens up hand-size-matters (we'll have a 7 card hand in 3CM!). It closes down deck recursion (Emrakul is going to the bottom of a very deep stack). It closes down blind discard.

What's really interesting is that there shouldnt be any 2-2's this round. You can't stall for eternity.

solitary confinement doesn't work that way. Eventually you will be unable to discard and it will be destroyed.

Karn seems...absurdly...powerful in this format, but it still only 1-4's our ole buddy Grave Titan.

I think I have a very fun in "character" deck this round. It's a very Door deck...I think I'm gonna PM it to you.

Pretty sure Hermit druid is a suicide deck...but what about good ole Painter's Servant, Grindstone, Sol Ring...(or Black Lotus if you're worried about Counterspell for some reason...)

Do you think turn 2 combo or value decks are better this round? Something like Phyrexian Obliterator, Black Lotus, Vindicate, or Ajani plus better protector...

But turn 2 combo has a lot of different angle to attack from.

Bomberman is even an option.

I actually removed it because Terravore would be a 0/0 since you'd have to cast it first.

That gives me a great idea for yet another deck.

Turn 1 Karn beats pretty much all the decks listed so far ...artifact blast doesn't even stop it anymore. Also, I still haven't found a tie deck...they all 3-3 based on who draws first...
