You know, none of this would be a problem if you played the one true format of draft. See the light, ye constructed heathens, and repent.

Legions x3 is not a format many enjoy.

Everyone knows the best draft format is 24 packs of randomly chosen, non-homelands sets.

As someone with deck-stealing experience, do you have any advice for an up-and-coming rookie deck thief?

I wouldn't put in Terastodon, it's too expensive to cast in most games. The mana leak over the other counterspell was a good idea though.

Yeah I thought it was a bit much.

I figured out why I have one copy of Mana Leak: the 9th Edition blue deck had one Mana Leak in it. Why so stingy, WotC?

Mata Hari, go out there in the world and borrow a deck from a kind and knowledgeable Modern player, build that relationship with a fellow Magic enthusiast and enjoy life, because God knows life is too short.

:D

I actually borrow Vintage decks.

Me too. The local bookstore owner actually lends me anything he can for Eternal ("They're meant to be played, not sit on my shelf!"), including about $2-3k of stuff for my Vintage singleton Battle of Wits deck.

I don't borrow decks for the same reason I don't borrow cars...I know I'm not gonna use them the way their owner would and I'd end up critiquing it to death :P (also I don't want to add additional wear and tear on them)

Cynicism is the mark of experience. I'd say he shrinked.
