Ohhhh graphically. I feelike it would get annoying if they reused the same animations or voices over and over though. but with 20000 different cards what choice do they have?

Well, I think it's less about using animations or voices and stuff. But I think having a product that looks like it was from this year rather than 2002 is important.

I was thinking about the animations they have for their loading screens and such. For in game was thinking the battlefield and the little interesting things going on around not as much the animation of the actual cards. Would be fun to have the animated attacks and allow them to be turned off as I do agree that might get tiring after a while. The voices I was thinking of was their pseudo chat voices.

Even with all that in game animation it still seems to run a lot faster and smoother than v3 or beta. Though I have only been able to watch it so far and not play it. I look forward to the open beta for it so I can check it out.

Animations are fine as long as they have a way to shut them off. Great in hearthstone but in a complicated game like magic it can become distracting.

Today I learned that Goryo's Vengeance + Griselbrand + Fury of the Horde is a terrifying Modern deck.

I watched it outrace Goblins seven times in a row. Then it rolled over mono-blue Tron time and time again, through counterspells and an active O-Stone. It's still pretty much a glass cannon, but seems slightly more resilient than many such decks, and it is so, so fast.

This thread being Disentombed led me to discover that Kiblets sells his own playmats.

There are really no adequate words to describe this
