Well, eureka emrakul is a thing. Just saying you might want to be able to credibly beat that.

There are no lines of play there. You have 3 2 attack creatures vs a creature with annihilator 6.

The ability still costs , so you would still need to cheat it into play with a storage land and thus it's very slow.

I've done a bit more math on the Signal Pest/Emrakul match-up, and there are just too many decisions to figure out. When do you attack? How many Pests do you swing with? I'm not sure I wanna play Triple Pest anymore... the calculations are a nightmare.

The three basic types are ManaManaThreat, ManaThreatThreat, and ManaThreatRemoval.

ManaThreatRemoval > ManaManaThreat
ManaManaThreat > ManaThreatThreat
ManaThreatThreat ties ManaThreatRemoval

My current metagame is something like:

MMT0 > MTR2 = MMT0, MTT0 < MTR1
MTR1 > MMT0 = MTR1, MTR2 < MTT0
MTR2 > MTT0 = MTR1, MTR2 < MMT0
MTT0 > MTR1 = MTT0, MMT0 < MTR2

Mana, Threat, Removal. 0 is just for spacing for decks with only one variant.
Which means that every deck ties with itself, then wins, loses and ties with one other deck. There is not a single deck capable of going 3-3.

Edit: There is one other deck which sort of throws things around a little, looking at it.
Okay, I think the metagame is 7 decks.

I love these severely limited formats. Total exercise in metagaming.

Simply not-getting-6-0'd isn't especially tough. But if your deck takes a lot of 3-3s and 2-2s it won't win.

Most Mana-Threat-Removal decks don't suffer 6-0 unless the opposing deck's threat is handpicked to be resilient to your deck's chosen removal (while necessarily still vulnerable to other decks'/colors' removal).

I found a deck that (I assume) will 2-2 every deck played. If we only have 15 players again...thats only 28 pts. That means 4 6's and and 3 2's beat it...which seems like an average score...

Otherwise...I've found two answers to every deck out there. I did find a "cool" mana/mana/threat deck, but there isnt any reason to play it over the head honcho.

I'm pretty sure there is no deck that 2-2's the entire field, but that takes Evil Presence into consideration.
