Don't feel bad door - the future is wide open! The time you spend alone forces you to develop yourself as a person until you're comfortable with yourself. Once you're happy with yourself and proud to just do whatever you like without fear of others, you'll find new and amazing people who want to be with you. Until then, feel great that we're all here with you! That said, get out from the forum and just go do something new and totally outside your character.

Or, if you watch Seinfeld, be Opposite George. Always be Opposite George.

I am actually a relatively social person, I was moreso talking about my lack of a significant other (hence also the intimacy comment). I was being a little melodramatic/half-serious though, I'm feeling pretty good about my life, in general.

I appreciate your kindness though.

you're also so wonderfully hip. you'll always have hunter s. thompson books and shade grown fair trade beans in your life.

I listen to ASMR to drown out the sadness that fills me from a deliberate lack of human contact.

But, for real, you should totally fear intimacy. Don't let anyone inside of you, because, ultimately, humans are corrupters and connivers. They are not to be trusted and they will crush you. The trick is this my friend: crush them first. Ruin them before they ruin you. Seduce them and force their dependence before you step on their fingers as they hang from the proverbial cliff of reason. Watch them fall. Relish the impact.

I'm sad because quick satisfaction keeps getting in the way of my ambitions, which makes me wonder if those are the things I want to spend my life on at all.

I am sad because my poor decisions have put me into a life of unhappiness that I may never escape.
