I am not certain what you mean by "suitable for writing novels". Do you mean novels that are easy to read for people who don't speak English well? Or, do you want something to do with the writing of novels?
If you are looking for something that is easy to read, then I would check out http://forum.nogoblinsallowed.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=813. That thread is full of links to great comics. The pictures should provide context to help the reading, and each review has a preview.
