On a tangent, I would rather do several hours of hard physical labor than watch a single episode of sex in the city. Or a single episode of glee. Two episodes...... that's pushing it. I am not the target audience for such things.

There is no female character of moderate importance that doesn't start fawning over Kirito in some way. It's pretty much a harem. I'm not even sure if Mother's Rosario is an exception to this.

There's much more fawning over Asuna than Kirito.
Kirito does have two... three? More girls coming for him in Alicization, though...

I agree that the focus is less on Kirito, but there's still the "he figured out the secret" thing that gives the impression that he's too good or something.

And just because the harem isn't all available in the first few episodes (a la Tenchi), I wouldn't discount it as a harem. The freaking mental gymnastics the show performs for the sake of the story it wants to tell, though, are hilarious for how bad it makes the show. I've still got... five more episodes to watch that are available, but wikipedia tells me there's one more coming up on the 13th (which means on Saturday, yeah?), and then I think I'll take a small break before re-watching what I had been calling season one (I have since learned that both the Aincrad arc and Alfheim arc are in season one; I need to re-watch the Aincrad arc to see if there is anything worthwhile in it).

Aincrad was THE arc. The good one.

Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi was actually quite entertaining and fascinating, although I can't help but think that the ending was a massive asspull, and it does not make any sense.
Also the MC was really obnoxious.

Akame ga Kill ending was also quite bad.
Chaika ending was good, although that too had a really big asspull.

So Absolute Duo looks like it will be really bad.
Not sure about Magical Boys: the anime yet, the humor didn't really hit me. Those outfits are fabulous though, and I think I can come to like most of the characters.

Shinmai Maou no Testament looks generic. Probably okay-but-bland. Blue girl is best girl, even though she has yet to make an appearance.
Kentai Collection's opening got me really pumped, but it will probably just focus on development of a girl I can't care about. Fingers crossed for some over the top scenes before I end up dropping it.
Yuri Kuma Arashi is AOTY. I don't know what happened, I don't care what happened, I don't even like yuri, but that was amazing.

Shinmai Maou put a lot of emphasis on the ecchi aspect. At least, the light novel did.
I just barely managed to force myself to finish vol 1 before discarding it and vol 2 (which I never ended up reading).

How did I not see No Game No Life before today. It has chess for crying out loud.

Tokyo Ghoul S2: First episode felt like what the ending of the previous show would be. Really though, it's just more Tokyo Ghoul, which was kind of mediocre. OP went from being one of my favorite to meh at best.
Military!: Eh, I laughed. I typically don't bother with shorts though.
Saekano: I actually liked it, but without any high hopes. I'm not entirely sure if it's a parody or not. Getting rather tired of Matsuoka as a VA. Enjoy the personality and chemistry between the girls though.
Also going to say that the first OP for **** wa Kimi no Uso was also a lot better.

Might be. I thought those shows typically showed it into your face starting episode 1, and I'd say that Shinmai Maou was quite tame.
I can't remember any trangressions in the manga either, which I admittedly more or less just read the equivalent of episode 1 of.
