The other explanation is that NGA is too specialized; people generally only go to their respective interests and then pop into the Off Topic Room to see what's going down. The number of subforums has the benefit of consolidating similar content, but Website Design 101 shows the more clicks a user has to do to access content the less likely they'll access that content.

America, hands down. We produce the most beer, the most variety of beers, and regularly win beer competitions around the globe. We're innovative, aggressively flavored/hopped, and "pushing the envelope" so to speak on brews and particularly microbreweries.

The caveat is that our beer culture is just horrible compared to Germany or Belgium or even Canada. Budweiser is our main export. It's a damn shame.
