No Goblins Allowed :: an anniversary party thing?

Longer answer: a number of issues conspired to prevent this from ever kicking off, first and foremost my lack of direction, but also the fact that the forum launched very near to the usual time UnCon was scheduled in the past. Right now the plan is to have an annual two-week event around the time of this forum's founding. We are already in the very early stages of planning, so if anyone has any concrete ideas, feel free to chime in!

no, we haven't tried..we have discussed trying it...but like a lot of the past discussions it went no where in fact :

What, pray tell, would you want to do? The two best things I could come up with were A) the debut of a front page or B) bringing back all the deleted smileys for a single day and redeleting them at the end once we'd realized what we had done. Neither one of those seems likely, and there isn't much to do honestly.

An anniversary party could be fun. I'm not sure how much party can really be organized in a bit under two weeks, though -- wasn't UnCon organization started several months in advance?

I'd like to think I've done more around here than just have a high post count As far as running something: I've mentioned down in the gaming areas before, but I'm currently deployed and literally cannot be online enough for it. I'll help in every way that I can, just can't lead that project.

I actually would love a :2shields: though, although I'd spell it with an s so it makes more sense to people who weren't there. plus until pablo made the MUP it was spelled with an s.
