I keep thinking this maybe should go somewhere else, but I can't find a better place....

Anyways, so what criteria are relevant between posting a work of prose fiction in the Creative Corner or putting it in M:EM for eventual voting? I haven't found anything pointing this out yet.

M:EM is for projects that are compatible with Canon, and compatible with the Expanded Canon of the project itself. So, we can take pretty much anything, when you get right down to it, as long as it doesn't contradict existing storyline materials or what we've established. There's a lot of room to play with, we just usually don't deal with canon characters directly and deal with canon planes sparingly to avoid conflicts of continuity.

The Creative Corner can, I guess, take anything that doesn't fit with that, or stuff that you just don't want to put up for a vote/enter into the project.

Alright, so, with that in mind - can the M:EM take things that involve non-M:tG IPs? I mean, the first chapter of my work is set on TES's Nirn....

Well, since the project is meant to be treated as an extension of canon, so that you could consider it just as canonical as what's published by Wizards, I'd say no. It's kind of outside the scope of what we're trying to do.

Sure thing. :) Hope you get a chance to write some stuff that fits with what we're doing.
