Everyone please join me in welcoming GobO_Sapper to the Community Management team!

Sapper has been a valuable member of the moderation team from day one, but as GobO_Fire said: "I don't want to hold someone back from moving up, even if it hurts a little in the short run." With our newest moderators picking up the slack, I think we will do fine, although I know the moderation staff will be sorry to lose his valuable experience and dedicated work ethic.

Coming on as the RPG Community Manager, Sapper joins GobO_Slobad, our MTG Community Manager, and they will work together to help build up areas that need attention and help the community develop even further into the utopia of creativity, gaming, and serious goofing off that I know we can be!

Um... congrats? I honestly don't know what exactly has transpired, so,

Long story short?

I can spend less time policing the forum, handling reports, handing out warnings, and editing away the bad stuff. And more time in community growth, organizing events and contests, and working on making the site's features and forums better.

When we launched the site I explained that I wanted to play more of that sort of role, but I agreed to come on as a moderator and help set things up as we went through those awkward first steps and got everything aimed where we wanted and moving that way. Now we've got a solid mod training plan, a well written Code of Conduct, and some pretty rocking members of the mod team and I have no doubt they'll be able to keep things running smoothly while I focus on the more fun stuff.

I'll get GobO_Fire to check into that for you Slider.
