We will let you know promptly whether we can fix the issue, will work on a fix in the future, or if the issue is actually working as intended. Please do not post chatter in this thread unless you have a bug to report, or you are asked further questions about an issue you already reported.

If you have a feature you would like implemented, please post instead in the feature request thread.

I'm unable to make a thread sticky

I thought I just couldn't figure out how to do it. Nice to know I'm not a complete idiot.

I can stick topics as an admin, but I couldn't with your permissions, and I can't find the specific toggle to turn in on after a few minutes of looking. For now, I'll just stick stuff, and any of the other admins get a chance to look and find it, let me know where it is. If not, I'll figure it out at some point.

Also, remind me to copy this thread into the staff area and remove all of our posts later, so this thread can still work for normal users.

I didn't see any settings for it either. My account can do it, as well, so if Admin isn't around I can grab any stickying needed for the short term.

edit: and just to make sure everybody is looking in the right place... edit the first post of the thread, and in the "options" area (where lock, attach sig, etc are) there should be a list of thread options, and one should be sticky. And then right below that is a number of days until the sticky expires (typically used for announcements).

The sticky thing might be a permissions issue. On my test board it's under ACP > Permissions > Forum Permissions > (pick the forum) > Submit > (choose a moderator group from Groups) > Edit Permissions > Advanced Permissions > Post > (make sure "Can post stickies" is Yes).

That may not be something we can fix, since the software pulls the time from the server and I don't think we have a dedicated server for this forum (yet).

you should probably fix sign up so names like "؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁؁" and "▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬" can't be used
