Post subject:  Add a "LIKE" button??

My phone is the biggest p.o.s especially for typing. Any way to add a "like" button (ala FB) to each post? Id much rather click a like button in a thread then type a response which I usually have to edit cause my phone sucks. I'm litterly counting the minutes till I get a new contract, then gonna take this one to the range, set it out at 100 yards and see how many rounds I can put through it...Ok I feel better now...

There's a little thumbs-up button in the lower-right corner of each post.

This also would belong in the Metaboard

Theres a whole thread dedicated to asking for new features.

When I was younger, I spent time on a site that had a "like" button for content and comments.

It was crap. People became slaves, nay, whores to the like button. They abandoned their individuality, their creativity, their dignity, all for the damned idol of the up-facing thumb. Those who voiced popular opinions were enshrined, while those who voiced unpopular opinions were ritually shamed. People even started copypasting other people's popular comments/content to get more likes.

Nevar again.

So... Facebook?

I enjoy that the like button here doesnt actually do anything, and that content isnt managed via votes up and down like reddit. I enjoy how that system works on that site, but this is a different sort of community, and one where a thought out comment should be the ideal response not just a wordless thumbs up.

I would have left when they added a like button here but there's no where to go any more.
