On the search page, there's a list of forums you can select for searching. Hold down the Control key (or the weird ⌘ key if you're on a Mac) while selecting forums to search and you should be able to select multiple forums at once.
my statement was in response to trappedslider asking if there was a way to filter active topics by forum. I was describing how to utilize the function you're talking about to jury-rig a solution to that.

if you want, you can figure out the whole url for that once, then just bookmark that page so you don't have to type in the whole thing every time.

This would probably the easiest method for now.

is there a way to turn off email notification for subscribed threads without unsubscribing? I wanted to mark the YMtC game threads so they'd be easy to find but I don't want an email every time someone posts.

There should be...but there doesn't appear to be. Huh. We'll have to fix that.

As a quick fix in the meantime, it should be possible to set up a filter on your email account to catch those emails and delete them automatically.

yeah my spam filter's catching them so it's not a huge deal, but my spam filter's aggressive enough that I occasionally have to go digging in there to find stuff that got caught accidentally, so I'd rather not flood it unnecessarily.

so, after accidentally replying to pms in the forum draft like a hundred times, I thought it might be nice to have a "forward" button on pms. just like a quote reply, but don't populate the "to" field. that way it makes you enter something and you can't accidentally send things backwards.

Razor, if you want to easily check on a thread without getting email notifications, use "Bookmark" instead of "Subscribe". That is the function you want.

Is there a way to make a special forum for everyone that only includes threads you have subscribed? That way you don't get fifty emails a day which I'm sure some people don't want.
