Yeah, we are still tweaking them all, and the old default theme with Ib has some changes in the works as well. Ib is my buddy, but that theme as is definitely looks the most unfinished, so we've changed it to one that is more polished and better representative of the site.
Dropping knowledge is the whole purpose of this thread! When we get to answer a question rather than having to figure out some bug or make changes, that's a good day.
I like the new red and grey skin, thanks for that!

So do I (it's my user default); I was just curious.
Good to see that people like it. I'm still tweaking small things about it and eventually when I get better at design I'll come up with better looking stuff, but I dont think it turned out too bad considering...
I'm also working on making papyrus better, and getting a third skin started as well. But more on that later.
If you have any ideas or tweaks you'd like to see considered, shoot me a PM about it.

Thanks!
The only problem I really had with papyrus is that the color scheme was similar already to some default colors this board uses across themes (in particular the "go to last unread post" button, as well as threads that have unread posts in them). It wasn't too much of a bother, but it just made those kind of blend in to the background.
On the post-writing page, there's a "topic review" section near the bottom that shows the most recent bunch of posts in the thread you're replying to. Each of those posts has a "Quote" button in the top-right corner. Clicking that inserts that post into the one you're writing, wrapped in [quote] tags.
It's sort of like multiquote, except you do it after you hit "Reply", and it's a little more annoying to find all the posts you want to reply to, but it works now rather than at some unknown future date.

I finally got a few hours free, and have some new things to announce tonight!
Topic Tagging:
When creating a new thread in most forums, you'll see a box next to the place you put the subject line. Click it and you can select from some predefined tags for that thread. You can pick multiple tags; they'll show up in [square brackets] in front of the thread title.
Quote Backlinks:
Clicking the quote button will now make the quoted poster's name into a link to the quoted post.
No fancy formatting, MTGS-style display or anything. That stuff can (and likely will) be added later, but this should get you going, and keep you from wearing out the "[c]" keys on your keyboards.
— As always, if something breaks, please let us know in the stickier Bug Report Thread. Thanks!

if I quote someone's post in which they quoted someone else, I don't want that other quote to be there
so if you quoted this post
Quote:
this quote would be in your post too, unless you manually deleted it
it takes up a bunch of space and makes your post look like garbage
especially now that you can click the quote to go back to the specific post, being able to see quotes within quotes is not necessary unless you want an ugly post
