Also, "Deruvid" did not receive his email.

(A third friend, however, did. So, I'm not certain how to replicate the issue).

I'm also not sure how to reproduce it; every time I've created an account I've received the email. Maybe the server logs contain some info for the admins to look at...

Just for reference, when posting that someone hasn't received their email, please include the domain we are sending to. I know Yahoo is famous for issues with confirmation emails, but maybe we can get an idea of which are a problem, if there is any pattern to it.

I have to use hotmail for my steam account because gmail automatically blocks steam emails and I can't change it

At least one did not get the resend, I've asked him if he can whitelist the site for now.


I've asked; I'll let you know when he tells me. But you should be able to see the user account emails as Admin.

The two domains are comcast.net and hotmail.

I have a hotmail account, though, and received the confirmation email fine (edit: I think? I can't seem to find it now. Did I sign up before confirmation emails were active?); so that's weird.

Neither said they knew how to whitelist. (I told the one with hotmail how to whitelist with that service, so we'll see).

Can you confirm that the confirmation email is indeed from nogoblinsallowed.com?

Actually, comcast needs the whole address for the confirmation email in order to whitelist it.

PS, I've activated these accounts, so they should now be able to log in.

Edit: yes, the mail should be from nogoblinsallowed.com.

Just an update on this:

We think we found the reason emails weren't going out, and set up a fix. Please, continue to let us know if you're not getting emails you expect or if friends aren't getting activation emails or whatever.

Once we're reasonably sure that the email issues are fixed, yes.

I've updated the note on the metaboard. I'll remove it this weekend if I haven't had anybody contact me with registration issues.

I've again updated the metaboard description, this time to remove the note completely. We're pretty confident that the original problem is under control now. However, if anybody has a friend or otherwise knows of somebody with trouble getting registration emails, please send 'em my way.
