What they refuse to tell us is that there is a test test site. It is used to test the ability to test on the testing site before the tests may go live. Once the tests are tested, then the tests may begin. It's run by GlaDOS.

The decision was made to forgo adding that forum until we have the traffic to support it, sort of like the decision on a video game forum.

The worldbuilding/general section is one of those that we are most likely to split, as we expect a decent amount of content. However. we do have to make sure we don't have a bunch of empty forums, either, as much as possible.

This may seem silly, but is there a way to include Chatango into the forums? I know I've used it a lot for casual M:tG games with users like Nathreet when we were on the WotC forums. Putting something like that directly into the pages here could be cool, though I have no idea if that's possible or wanted. Could just be fun.

Is there autocard?

New answer: Yes!.

Options:
Code:
[c]cardname[/c]
[c=cardname]display text[/c]
[card]cardname[/card]
[card=cardname]display text[/card]

Also, we now have mana cost tags too:
Code:
[mc]wubrgs, t[/mc]
[mc]x(inf)(rb)(pw), q[/mc]

There was a request for better graphics.
I concur.
And can provide if someone will contact me regarding doing it.

Chat might be cool, but we want to make sure we pick an option that integrates well with the forum and other things we have planned.

Barinellos, I absolutely agree about the graphics, but we didn't want to put off opening the forums for cosmetic reasons when everything else was already up and running.

PM me with any specific ideas you have.

The Expanded Multiverse would like to request an Archive subforum. It is pretty vital to our operations.

Sure. Provide me the description you want the forum to have and I'll set it up.

Something along the lines of: "Our archives. Here you can find all the stories, characters, planes... that are accepted into the Expanded Multiverse."

Spiffy. I'll drop the first two words in the interest of brevity - it'll be clear it's the archive, after all.

Should the forum be name "Archive" or "M:EM Archive" or "Magic: Expanded Universe Archive" or something else?

I'd personally go for Expanded Multiverse Archive. Archive doesn't say enough, M:EM is too brief and Magic: Expanded Multiverse Archive seems too wordy.

Sounds good. It's all editable after it's created, so if the decision is that it needs a different name or more description, we can tweak as needed. Stand by...

Should be set. If any tweaks are needed - either because I goofed or needs have changed - just post it up and we'll get it worked out.

Nothing major, simply a nitpick.
Right now only by using mc tags can you get consecutive mana symbols. Using colons there has to be a space inbetween each one.

I can understand if it's too soon to worry about aesthetics, but I figured it would be worth noting.

Yep, that's why the MC tag was implemented actually. It's just the way smiley images work in the forum software.

Can a [thumb=size][/thumb] tag be added to adjust image size?
